WHAT: The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (Commission) will hold a field hearing in Evansville to hear from the public on the rate case petition of Evansville Municipal Water Works under Cause No. 45545.

WHEN: Aug. 12, 2021, at 6 p.m. local time (rescheduled from Aug. 4)

WHERE: University of Evansville, Shanklin Theater, 1800 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN 47722

WHY: Evansville Municipal Water Works has filed a petition before the Commission for a new schedule of rates and charges for water utility service.

  • Mail: Public Comments, Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor, 115 W. Washington Street, Suite 1500 South, Indianapolis, IN 46204
  • Email: uccinfo@oucc.in.gov
  • Written comments should include the ratepayer’s name, mailing address, and a reference to “Cause No. 45545”

At the hearing, the public is required to comply with all local health and safety regulations, which can be accessed at https://vanderburghhealth.org/

If you would like to access case-related documents under Cause No. 45545, visit the Commission’s Online Services Portal here. Instructions on how to best use this database can be found here.
